Direct sunlight can cause the ink inside your marker to dry out pretty quickly and make it much harder to revive. Heat may also cause some of the ink to evaporate if you leave the tip of the marker exposed without a cap. The best place to store your marker is in a cool, dry room without too much exposure to sunlight.
